POLICE have charged an 80-year-old Spearwood man over a fatal traffic crash in Wattleup in April.

The man was driving with an 83-year-old passenger when his Lexus collided with a semi-trailer at the intersection of Moylan and Wattleup Roads. The semi’s driver died at the scene. The charged man and his passenger received serious injuries and remain in hospital. The man will appear in Fremantle magistrates court July 29.
