AS I first stepped onto the spacious driveway, I couldn’t help but feel taken aback by the grandness of the house I was about to step in.
Large trees overtowered the building which spread out over such a vast amount of space.
The house has five bedrooms, plus a cosy first floor guest wing with an en-suite bathroom.
When you walk through the front door, a stunning timber staircase welcomes you and curves itself around the walls. Towering over you is a finely polished jarrah door, that opens up into the lounge area.
Windows take pride of place instead of walls, allowing every ounce of daylight into this open room. The dining room welcomes visions of large family celebrations and dinner parties and it won’t take long to serve up food, as next door is the kitchen. Fully equipped with endless cupboard space, the kitchen overlooks the swimming pool, where summer days can be spent watching the children play in the sun.
A games and theatre room hides in the corner, giving children their own private space to kick back after school.
And for the grown-ups’ toys, the garage allows room for up to three cars, and there is even a workshop to get your hands dirty.
A final hidden treat on the ground floor is situated down a medieval themed staircase, where you will find a candlelit wine cellar, perfect for storage.
On the second floor there are another two large, modern bathrooms and four bedrooms which all include their own quiet study area. The main room includes an en-suite and has a balcony which overlooks your own native garden.
In the garden, you will first enter onto a large entertainment decking area, ideal for summer BBQs, especially as it’s right next to the pool and heated sauna where you can relax in the evenings with a glass of bubbly.
The second area is a secluded grass area, which has a low amount of maintenance, even for its size.
And finally there’s the native garden, situated behind a glass gate. This eco-friendly area is great for the inner green finger.
The house itself is surrounded by bush parks, with views of the hills, a nearby golf course and plenty of schools for the children.
