THE Freo Street Doctor has been inundated with handbags crammed with goodies following our appeal story last week.

Bicton’s Nadine Dennis, who came up with the idea of donating unused bags stuffed with goodies, says staff at the the mobile health van received 60 bags in the days following our story.

“It’s been such an amazing response, but we need people to keep giving and dropping off those old bags at the Street Doctor,” she says.

The story went gangbusters on our Facebook page, with nearly 10,000 views.
