A wall of glass framed dramatic black skies, Aquinas College and the languid silver river as a massive downpour gathered overhead, taking my breath away with its grandeur.

The view just got better as I stepped into the second level living/dining/kitchen area, a sweeping space where a wall of glass opens onto a huge alfresco area. Watching a lightning storm from here must be magical, and no doubt the Australia Day fireworks would be pretty good too.

Invite your friends around, there’s plenty of room inside and out.

The huge kitchen would make whipping up a feast as easy as popping a champagne cork, with its sweep of caesar stone bench tops, swag of cupboards and soft-close drawers, and walk-in-pantry.

Grab a bottle of vino from the cellar under the stairs and head out to the expansive timber deck. Protected on three sides it’s a great spot to chill–or entertain.
