WA’s eight-day extravaganza – the IGA Perth Royal Show 2016 kicks off on 24 September and runs to 1 October.

A celebration of Australian excellence, it showcases the best of what’s on offer throughout the state by bringing the country to the city.

There’s so much to see and do this year, including agricultural competitions, animals, livestock, displays and exhibitions, art and crafts, award-winning food, wine and beer, horticulture, show bags, spectacular fireworks every night and 100 hours of entertainment by 400 entertainers. Expect thrilling full throttle action on the main arena each day with a motorised monster ball and freestyle motocross riders performing mind-blowing aerial stunts.

Foodies will revel in the huge array of delectable offerings at the Taste WA Precinct. If you have an appetite for agriculture, join the Department of Agriculture and Food in the FarmTech and Farm to Food pavilions for the latest apps and on-line technology.

Gardeners will love the Waterwise display with Garden Guru Trevor Cochrane & don’t miss Walk Through WA, for an innovative, educational display from all regions of WA.
