Greg Whittle has always been a keen surfer and stand up paddler. When the opportunity arose to buy and re open the old Mocean surf shop on Canning Highway with a fantastic new name, new look and new focus, he didn’t hesitate. Powerhouse Surf opened earlier this year and is located opposite McDonalds on Canning Highway.

In a market full of ‘boutique surf’ outlets, Greg says his store will be getting back to basics as a ‘true local’ Surf hardware store. Somewhere for true surfers ‘men, women, young, old and weekend warriors’ to go.

Powerhouse Surf is a hardware specialist store stocking all the major surfboards and accessories including DHD, Hayden Shapes, Rusty, Creatures, DaKine, Ripcord, O’Neil, Quicksilver, Billabong and many other well known brands.

“We have great friendly staff with years of knowledge so whether you are pro or beginner, maybe a little curious and would like to give it a go we can give you advice on the best board for you and of course you can shop our range of clothing,” said Greg.
