FREMANTLE and Cockburn have dominated the list of finalists for conservation at this year’s state heritage awards.

They include the gunners’ cottageson Cantonment Hill, Match’s Heirloom apartments, Hillcrest in North Fremantle, Wilhelmsen House on Cliff Street and the Coogee Hotel and post office. The Azalia Ley museum complex in Spearwood was also nominated for best interpretation project.
