THE Liberal candidate for Fremantle, Hayden Shenton, wants businesses in the city’s Business Improvement District to offer discounts for students at Notre Dame Uni.

Mr Shenton picked up the idea from the uni’s president of student services Dylan Gojak and met with the BID this week to put forward a pitch.

“The method would simply be by a student producing their university card at a participating BID business, they receive discount and packaged offers for beverages, food, clothing, pharmaceuticals, hair cuts, stationery, etc,” Mr Shenton says.
