The innovative agribusiness degree offered at Muresk is being embraced by students and agriculture related businesses to meet high demand for graduates ready for careers in this growing industry.
The highly regarded Charles Sturt University Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management combines face to face lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions and field work. Trips to exemplary farms and agricultural businesses support the theory studied in the classroom while encouraging students to network with potential employers. The course also provides an opportunity to study overseas.
Industry bodies and businesses strongly support the program by providing scholarships and academic prizes as well as opportunities for work placements. Subjects are timetabled in two-day blocks every fortnight. Materials online allow students to study full or part time while working.
Enrolments for 2017 are still open. Applications need to be in soon to access $40,000 of scholarships offered by industry for first year students. For more information or to book a campus tour, email agribusiness@crtafe.wa.edu.au or call (08) 9622 6789.
