What makes private schooling different?

Why go private? It’s the age-old question when selecting the best school for your daughter or son. There’s no simple answer because every family is unique. However, like any major investment in their children’s lives, most parents end up making their school selection following a healthy debate about value, quality and opportunity.

St Hilda’s has decades of experience educating young girls in Western Australia. From Pre Primary to Year 12, classes at St Hilda’s have no more than 24 students, with an average of 18 students in the senior years. This allows for a lot of one-on-one learning and means staff will know and care for your child in an individual way.

Across the school there are extension and enrichment opportunities for students across all curriculum areas. St Hilda’s has embraced Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths (STEAM) from Kindergarten to Year 12. The school is also tech-savvy, providing the right devices free of charge to help girls learn.

Within the extensive co-curricular program, students will find activities to suit their interests and abilities. From surfing, to discussing international relations, to performing in a jazz band, St Hilda’s offers something for every student.

Education is not a place for cutting corners. It’s the opportunity for your daughter to start an adventure that will ensure she has a platform for achievement through the rest of her life.
