AN Uber driver was repeatedly punched in the head before crashing his car in Carrington Street early Sunday, July 23.

The 64-year-old driver went to pick up a woman and three men from Sainsbury Road in O’Connor, but after they started acting aggressively he asked them to leave.

When one got out of the car, he started to drive off, but was repeatedly punched in the back of the head before he crashed his car.

The three remaining occupants then did a runner.
