New independent optometrist opens in the village

New to Applecross Village is Spectacular Optics, an independent optometry practice. Optometrist and owner Gordon Johnston has lived in the Melville area for 30 years, and after decades working at Curtin University, he has embarked on this new and exciting venture.

Providing personalised service and superb value, Spectacular Optics aims to look after you. All examinations are bulk billed, and all major health funds can be directly billed with HICAPS. The parking is convenient, and has a disabled bay right at the front door.

Spectacular Optics is one of only ten suppliers in Perth with the new Maui Jim optical range.

The price for frames includes scratch resistant, standard single vision lenses, a cloth and case plus a 2-year warranty. Any hospital or optometrist’s prescription can be dispensed at a reasonable price. Spectacular Optics can also fit and supply any brand of contact lens (or its equivalent).
