Sounds of Then is a musical collaboration which combines years of industry experience and diverse musical influences.

For this special event at The Newport Hotel, Fremantle the group has put together a show consisting of nothing but iconic Australian Rock and Pop Anthems!

The band’s keyboardist Mark Ralph commented “every time we (the band) play these songs, they bring up a whole bunch of awesome memories of growing up in Australia…we have had a ball putting this together.”

There will be something for everyone at this gig – Mondo Rock, Paul Kelly, ACDC, Kylie Minogue, Silverchair, Cold Chisel, Jo Jo Zep, Hoodoo Gurus, and the list goes on.

Sounds of Then deliver their music energetically and passionately. The 8 Piece Band is made up from members of Perth’s top bands; Jenelle Russo (Violette River, Pop Rox), Priam Bacich (The Swamp Monsters, The Night After, The Charisma Brothers) Rick Kage (Violette River, Pop Rocks), Paul Hines (Boom Bap Pow), Steve Richardson (Tourist), Mark Ralph (Oats Supply, Stuart Orchard Band, Lee Sappho and the Love Thugs), Ian Russo (Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Mooj) and Dylan Hooper (Boom Bap Pow, Junkadelic).

Come down and join the band for a really fun night at The Newport Hotel, Frematle this Friday the 24th of August. As singer Jenelle Russo said, “there is nothing more electric, and Aussie, than a room full of Punters singing Horses together at the end of the night!”
