It’s all killer and no filler! The Newport gets set to bring you the best of the 90s on Friday 16 September
Nevermind the Nineties is returning to The Newport Hotel this Friday 16 November after a huge show in May and subsequent sell out at Badlands. Performed by The Space Needles, Nevermind the Nineties pays homage to the alternative rock and grunge action the 90s generation have grown up listening to over the last 30 years.
Nevermind the Nineties actually started a few years back now, with a sell out gig at Devilles Pad and massive line wrapping around the block. The lineup and the setlist has changed a little since then, but the audience has never faltered.
“There really is something in our set for any degree of fan, whether you’re a die-hard flannel-clad grunge lord, 90s metal head still wearing the same Pantera shirt they wore at 15, or just someone who likes singles from all the major rock acts in recent history,” says front man Laith Tyranny.
Those in attendance can expect to hear Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Rage against the Machine, Faith No More, Tool, Marilyn Manson, Soundgarden, Jane’s Addiction, Deftones and many more! All killer, no filler.
Join The Space Needles this Friday 16 November as they get on The Newport stage and don’t stop until everyone is exhausted, covered in beer and sweat and grinning from ear to ear!
