Duke of George presents Dave Milroy with The Wilarra Band & The Bottleneck Ramblers

January 26 – A Special Australia Day Dinner Show

This Australia Day, the brand new, purpose-built Jazz and Blues venue in East Fremantle hosts its inaugural Dinner Show event.  Duke of George is a stunning new Jazz/Blues bar in the semi – basement of the Heritage listed Brush Factory Building at the top of George Street. Its ethos is to provide quality live performances in the vein of Jazz, Blues, Soul and more. The music has been carefully curated by owner-operator Renee Coyle under the watchful eye of renowned and revered musician Lucky Oceans. Lucky has strong personal admiration for this venue and performs for the first time there on Australia Day.

It will be an evening of Australian Indigenous warmth and character as renowned singer and guitarist Dave Milroy presents the Wilarra Band & The Bottleneck Ramblers featuring Lucky, Wayne Freer, Lauralee Faith, Bob Patient and Elliot Smith. They will be joined by some mystery musicians, for an evening of Ballads, Blues and Gospel.

There are three dinner platters available to pre-book with your tickets; Seafood, Blues and Roots or a Hippie (vegetarian); so get your tastebuds set for a Bloody Mary Tiger Prawn & Crab cocktail, Southern Fried Chicken, Corn Griddle cakes, Jambalaya, Apple Slaw + more. There’s a large selection of premium wines and beers as well as cocktails all delivered to your table by attentive wait staff.

Doors open at 5pm.
All dinner and show bookings
must be seated for service by 6.30pm.
