It was the focus of her Masters in Business Leadership.

Evolution of an eye-catching local business

Naked Specs began in the Fremantle Markets four years ago as an optical dispenser with a diff erence. The business grew from nothing and from strength to strength. 

Justine’s husband Adam came on board from his role as GM Customer and Digital at Perth Airport, bringing his MBA at Manchester Business School as well as extensive experience in marketing and design to the business. 

He’s the genius behind the unique WA Eye Chart (which sells as an art piece and hangs on walls around the world) and the stylish interiors at the new South Freo store. 

The Markets store will remain open with Justine and Adam praising the location as formerly (and hopefully again) a great base for international marketing of their products. 

“In its prime we would have up to 25,000 people a day going past our store from all over the world. It gave our new start business national and international recognition,” Adam told the Herald.
