AND the Oscar goes to…this luxurious Attadale home.

I could imagine former Oscar- winner Anthony Hopkins enjoying a glass of Chianti and some fava beans here.

So you have a choice of meal-time locations, which is great if you’re entertaining and have older kids who want to eat on their own.

The sheltered alfresco is worthy of an Oscars after-party with a luxurious spa in one corner and a fully-equipped kitchen with pizza oven in the other.

And after you’ve had a slice of truffle-laced pizza in the spa, open the bi-folds and dive straight into the outdoor pool for a refreshing dip, clutching your gold statue.

It really is a wonderful area with some gold fairy lights on the ceiling adding a little touch of the magic from the movie Encanto.

Split over two levels there are seperate living areas which is great if you have older kids or family/guests coming to stay.

Being a middle-aged man, I especially like the “man cave” or “x cave”, whatever they call it these days, which has plenty of room for a pool table, bar and sports memorabilia on the wall.

The owners didn’t skimp on technology in this truly “smart home” with everything controlled virtually through an app on your phone, like a scene from a sci-fi movie.

“Siri, get me an ice-cold beer and a potato sack full of chips.”

There are too many amazing features to mention in this house but it includes a lift, ducted reverse cycle air-conditioning, ducted vacuum system, security alarm, CCTV and a video intercom system, and solar panels.

Situated on an 801sqm block on Moreing Road, it’s just up the hill from Point Walter, where I’ve spent many a lazy Sunday afternoon with the family, enjoying the panoramic views and well-kept foreshore.

With a double lock-up garage and total room for five cars, there’s plenty of space for a boat and trailer.

I reckon I would feel like a slightly over-weight Gerard Butler living here, it’s def got a touch of the Hollywood magic.
