ONE of the world’s most acclaimed historical exhibitions Titanic. The Human Story has docked in WA for the summer.
Featuring more than 200 original artefacts, personal belongings and rarely seen objects from the iconic ship, it’s the first time many of these have been shown in Perth.

• Some of the amazing exhibits in Titanic. The Human Story, coming to Perth for the first time.
The exhibition has toured extensively across Europe, the US and the UK, attracting millions of visitors.
Musealia director Luis Ferreiro says the exhibition is more than just a historical display.

“The Titanic is a global story, but it is also profoundly human,” he says.
“Every object in this exhibition belonged to someone with hopes, dreams and loved ones waiting for them. Our goal is to honour those individuals by telling their stories with accuracy, dignity and emotional truth.”
Historian Claes-Göran Wetterholm, one of the world’s foremost experts on the Titanic, says the exhibition brings to life decades of research in an entertaining manner.
“After more than 40 years studying the Titanic, what continues to strike me is not the scale of the tragedy, but the humanity of the people on board,” Wetterholm says.
“Through letters, photographs, music and personal belongings, visitors will come to know these individuals as parents, children, workers and survivors.
“I look forward to sharing these stories with Western Australian audiences.”

Among the 200 objects on display are handwritten letters, clothing, wayward keepsakes and family belongings, many on loan from private collections and never before shown in WA.
Visitors will encounter detailed recreations of Titanic’s interiors, from the elegance of first-class suites to the close confines of steerage accommodation, complemented by an immersive audio guide with music, atmospheric soundscapes and authentic testimony.
But at its core, the exhibition focuses on the human impact of the sinking, stories of love, hope, survival and heartbreak that continue to resonate more than a century later.
Titanic. The Human Story is at the Northbridge Centre, 30 Beaufort Street, Perth until June 2026. Bookings at titanicexhibition.com.au/perth.
