ANNA GARE jokes she and other members of the Jam Tarts may be a “little older and wider” but they can still belt out some decent harmonies.

The outfit featured Anna and her sister Sophie and a host of others (at one time blowing out to nine members) in the late 1980s and early ‘90s, but with babies and career changes and all sorts of other things, they haven’t played together in 20 years.

Back in the day the feel-good funksters would pack out the Seaview on a Sunday afternoon. Now, five of the troupe is getting back together for a rare appearance this Sunday, February 10, at the Fremantle Art Centre’s courtyard music sessions.
