GYPSY TAPAS has become famous in the port city for serving up tantalising small plate fare.
Now the High Street restaurant has whipped up a CD of live recordings of some of the port city’s favourite musos who appeared at the noshery in 2011.
You can bite into some tunes from Dilip n the Davs, John Bannister, Trio Alegra, Freo Grasshopper and more.
With the CD, launched this Sunday, May 5 at Gypsy Tapas, comes a 20-page cookbook featuring some of the dishes that has made the eatery a favourite haunt with locals (what’s that, a fine Mother’s Day gift you say?).
Stefan Armentano, who runs the cafe with his business partner Una Healy says it has been a great ride since opening in 2006.
“Seven years ago I was just a chef, now I’m an accountant, a waiter, a restaurant manger and now a music producer,” he laughed.
“What an adventure.”
That’s nice
