Welcome to The Kiosk Fremantle, the “oarsome” cafe you’ll find between the bridges on Beach Street.
This little neighbourhood is a happening place and The Kiosk is a great fit.
It’s casual, but with panache: Think, white singlet on a man with a handlebar moustache. Panache.
The kitchen uses the freshest produce to elevate even the old favourites, and everything is made from scratch.
Breads are sourced from an artisan bakery and only the highest quality oils are used for frying.
The breakfast menu is both comforting and enticing, with old faves eggs, pancakes and french toast as well as curve balls like the Kiosk Kombo—a medley of tomatoes, olives, ricotta and basil on toast, Luscious Mushies (pan-fried field mushrooms and fresh herbs pesto on toast) and the Brekky Burger (bacon, egg, roasted tomato, mushrooms and relish). Of course, eggs are free-range and toast is organic.
For lunches and mains the focus is on fast, fresh and fun with a range of fish, squid and prawn dishes, a mighty Kiosk Steak Sanga and a range of gourmet burgers (served with chips), including a truly delicious Lentil Burger (honest, not kidding, it’s awesome). There are also Chef’s Salads, Sides and a great little Kids’ Menu.
As for drinks, well, the juices are freshly made on spot and the coffee is, well, let’s just say there’s no need anymore to put up with parking hassles in the CBD. The Kiosk is BYO, wine only(for now) with licensing further down the track, and $2 corkage per person.
The Kiosk is a dog-friendly place, with plenty of space on the parkside.
Large groups for various functions are welcome, but generally The Kiosk is unable to hire out the venue during opening times, as regular customers have been known to riot. But if you’re keen to book the place out, talk to the manager or email bigwig@thekioskfremantle.com.au
