The Jolie-Pitts are an endless source of voyeuristic speculation, whether it’s more kids, speculation about their on-again, off-again relationship, or (if you can believe it) an ebay auction of a jar of their air.

But I have it on good authority they really do have an Arclinea kitchen: The Italian company is to kitchens as Versace is to fashion.

Having drooled over the stainless steel stunner at this sumptuous North Fremantle mansion I can see why. And the drool is so easy to wipe off.

There are river views right and left of the central island, a massive single piece of molded steel.

It encompasses a five-burner stove and sink, a spot to keep food warm and a descending plate warmer, with a bank of commercial range hoods overhead.

Views schmews—I couldn’t stop looking at this heavenly domestic domain, which cost a gobsmacking $42,000.

Its many features include a plumbed-in coffee machine, two ovens, plus a steaming oven, and a tap for filtered water, cold or boiling, at the flick of the spigot.

Nearby are massive, glass-fronted twin wine coolers, one for the reds and one for the whites.

Then there’s the scullery with its own dishwasher—there’s also one in the kitchen—and a commercial-grade coolroom.

Opulent marble floors and walls are found throughout this brand-new home, including the colossal open-living/dining/kitchen area, where a gas-fired open fire no doubt sets a cosy mood on cold nights.

But for these delightful summery days, bifold doors open onto a marbled balcony enhancing the panoramic river view.

“My God! The parties you could host here,” I thought.

A citadel-like hammered stainless steel front door sets the tone for this soaring four-bedroom/four-bathroom home.

The massive entry is a dazzling sight, with white marble floors, towering earthy brown/grey titanium marble walls and acres of glass and stainless steel, including a glass lift.

It was downstairs to the huge four-car garage, where bifold doors open onto a games room and bifold windows of the games room peel back so people inside can talk to people in the plunge pool.

Or to those tending the Arclinea barbecue next to it.

Nearby is a sauna and a shower with a separate aroma therapy oil shower head, and somewhere in the mix is a jacuzzi.

The first floor is for the kids, or a guest suite, with its mini Arclinea kitchen.

The parents’ retreat is off the living/kitchen. Which at first seemed odd, as the massive uncurtained plate glass window looks across the living area to the river. But at a press of a button the glass frosts over for privacy. IT FROSTS OVER!

Of course, I expected nothing less than the huge dressing room and equally spacious ensuite (complete with deep bath and separate shower) for this luxuriant bedroom.

The Cutting is part of the Minim Cove development with landscaped streets and the river foreshore a short walk away.

The real estate brochure proclaims this home “the likes of which has not been seen in Perth before”.

Still picking my jaw up from the floor and nearly requiring the agent’s help to get back to my car as my legs had turned to jelly, I’d have to agree.
