A HEART-WARMING message in a bottle from a young girl to her grandpa has washed up at Woodman Point.

“Hi Pa, I’m missing you a lot,” the note reads.

“I wanted to wish you Happy Birthday. Me and Grandma are missing you so much. Evrey won (sic) is missing you. I wrote this note for you Because I love you. Love from Elizabeth.”

A South Fremantle woman says she found the small spice bottle and note on the beach on February 2.

She says the message was a little tatty and she has no idea how long it’s been floating in the ocean, nor from where it came.

“Hi Pa, I’m missing you a lot,”

She’s keen to contact the family to see if they want the message back, or for it to be given back to the ocean.

“The note is obviously written by a little girl,” the woman told the Herald.

“The bottle could’ve been in the water for five minutes, it could’ve been there for months.

“I don’t have kids so I’m not sentimental, but If I could talk to them maybe I could get instructions from them about what they want me to do with the bottle.”
