THE SEAVIEW HOTEL, South Fremantle:
Steeped in history, the Seaview Hotel is one of Western Australia’s oldest trading hotels. It was built in 1897, although you wouldn’t know it these days, as this grand hotel underwent a complete refurbishment in 2006. The heritage listed Seaview offers a complete modern hotel experience, while retaining the charming feel and outstanding service of a bygone era. It’s the best of both worlds.
This South Freo beauty provides a range of bar and dining options to suit every occasion. The front bar is a vibrant spot, great to grab a quick bite or afterwork drink. Challenge your friends to a game of pool in the adjoining sports bar, with big screen TVs to catch your favourite match, or watch the sunset while enjoying a drink on the front verandah. The sumptuous wine bar is a beautiful space, ideal for intimate functions of up to 50 people, especially in winter with an open fire creating a cosy atmosphere.
The Seaview does classic pub food really well, at really good prices. The restaurant’s new menu offers some enticing additions. Starters include spicy wings, arancini, twice-cooked beef tortillas and antipasto share platters.

There’s a good selection of mouthwatering burgers – from beef burgers with the lot, to tasty vegetarian focaccias. All burgers come with a generous side order of the best chips you’ll taste in Freo. Cooked to golden perfection, they’re chips as chips should be – cripsy on the outside and delightfully fluffy on the inside.
The battered fish and chips with home made tartare sauce and chicken parmigiana are simply delicious. Meat lovers will be in 7th heaven with a choice of rump, sirloin, scotch and fillet steak and you can add a serve of garlic tiger prawns. Other tempting items include the chargrilled swordfish on a bed of tender over-roasted vegetables and the crumbed pork chop served with crushed potatoes and a hazelnut & apple salad. And if meat or fish is not your thing, the melanzane parmigiana is divine. Melt in the mouth layers of eggplant, parmesan and napolitana sauce slow roasted to bring out the flavours.
The restaurant can cater for private functions of up to 200. The friendly and experienced team at the Seaview will help make your event a success.
