04. 10NEWSFREMANTLE’S first Aboriginal Cultural Centre opens on Arthur Head on Monday to coincide with a walk and concert for the Journey of Recognition, which is seeking to have indigenous Australians recognised in the constitution.

Wiradjuri man Peter Dawson (left, pictured with mayor Brad Pettitt and the council’s Aboriginal liaison officer Brendan Moore) says they’re building steam towards a referendum on changing the constitution.
