THE Fremantle Festival danced and banged its way to a grand finale last weekend with the annual street parade ending the two-week celebration.

One of the longest parades in years was watched by an enthusiastic crowd, although numbers were affected by Transperth’s inexplicable decision to once again stop the trains on what is one of the port city’s biggest days of the year.
