There’s nothing quite like Abhi’s Bread…tasty and so satisfying, you can savour the wholesome goodness from your first bite. Nourishing Freo folk for 20 years now, Abhi’s set out with the goal of using only the best quality local ingredients to create handcrafted organic bread.

As an artisan bakery following traditional, time honoured methods, Abhi’s has always used yeast free sourdough starter, fermented the same way it was 2000 years ago, without the use of any preservatives, additives, oils or improvers. Unbleached flour, iodised salt and filtered water are used in all loaves to ensure you’re enjoying a healthy and nutritious product.

In exciting news, Abhi’s has been recently revamped using local furniture makers and designers. You can now sit and take a quiet moment, sip a great organic coffee, grab a quick healthy takeaway lunch or indulge in one of the delicious spelt, organic or gluten free cakes and pastries.

Our selection of homemade rolls, warm pies, savoury pastries and hearty soups served with our delicious breads changes daily so be sure to pop in often and try them all!

Abhi’s also provides a range of tempting treats – European inspired classics such as strudel ,wild berry apple tart and cinnamon brioche to name but a few. Available for morning teas and functions.

In the early days, locals may remember Abhi’s bread being delivered to them by bike – now that’s door to door service! As the bakery expanded and the range of items grew, the bikes were traded in for vans and Abhi’s now delivers bread to many cafés and restaurants. Though one thing hasn’t changed – Abhi’s commitment to make authentic bread that’s as good for you as it tastes.

Many of Abhi’s products are also available at Coventry Village, Stirling and Manning farmers markets plus selected supermarkets.
