Flying Pigs at the Fig
Pigs have been known to fly down at the Fig. Since they started serving free range, nitrate free bacon, even the most hard core porcine purist has been known to order a double serve. Nitrates are chemical compounds found in many foods and give bacon its artificial pink colour. The Fig’s bacon is hickory smoked and unbelievably delicious.

Celebrating over 20 years in business, Abhi’s Bread, has evolved into much more than a regular bread shop. Under the direction of owner Heinz Muller, a Swiss-born baker, Abhi’s has flourished in its corner shop location on South Terrace. Over the past decade Heinz’s organic and sourdough loaves have reached cult status among passionate locals and are sought by top restaurants, cafes and grocery stores across the state.
In dedication to the wonderful community spirit in South Fremantle, Heinz has recently revamped the shop using local furniture makers and designers.
