FREMANTLE independent realtor and Herald columnist Hayden Groves has been elected president of the Real Estate Institute of WA.

Mr Groves, whose first job selling houses was at John Dethridge and Co in Fremantle,  has been on the REIWA council since 2010 and was deputy president from October 2013. He is also the deputy president of the country’s peak real estate body, the Real Estate Institute of Australia.

Mr Groves holds an honours degree in politics, has studied law and is a licensed auctioneer.
