Fabulous accessories  store opens in Palmyra

It used to be that if a girl wanted to find stunning and unique accessories, she would have to travel far and wide to hunt down the perfect bag, shoe or hat. Or go online, not getting a chance to see, feel and examine the item up close. Not anymore. Welcome to &[and] – a gorgeous new women’s accessories store in Palmyra. Stocking Australian and international footwear and accessories labels, &[and] is the concept of Bicton resident Mel Kitson. Mel worked in the fashion and footwear industry for many years, in addition to running her own jewellery business Mel K Designs. At &[and] you’ll find a fabulous range of accessories that you won’t find anywhere else locally. The Mooi bags are amazing – using exotic materials such as pony, calf skin and springbok ethically sourced and produced, they are the must have for those who love something different. There are sublime summer sandals, by Misano and Sol Sana, beautifully light summer scarves, Latin Threads Mochila bags – handmade in Columbia, stylish hats and cool unisex watches by Perth-based Deon Dane. You can also purchase fine and costume jewellery, created by Mel K herself. Custom jewellery orders are welcome and Mel also offers a jewellery repair service.
