POLICE divers were still searching under the Fremantle traffic bridge on Thursday morning after tiles were found matching those used to weigh down the body of a woman found in a suitcase last Saturday.
A fisherman found the woman’s half-naked body in the suitcase near East Fremantle’s Aqua Rama Marina.
On Wednesday, a passerby noticed a stack of distinctive tiles by the riverside near the traffic bridge and called it in as suspicious.
Police matched them to the tiles in the suitcase, but are still unsure how or why they got under the traffic bridge, or who was responsible.
The woman is described as aged between 35 and 45, of Asian appearance.
