Young footie players in Melville are back to kicking goals as another term of the Willagee Night Fields football program starts. The free after-school program for 6 – 16 years olds at Winnacott Oval has run for six weeks each term since last year.

Touring the Dockers’ rooms at Fremantle Oval, playing in the Auskick half-time game at Subiaco Oval, and competing with other teams across the south west metro region are part of the program, run by Melville council and WA Football Commission. “It is wonderful to see children of all ages attending the after school program regularly with so much enthusiasm and in a fun, supportive environment,”says mayor Russel Aubrey.
