most spectacular

WHITE GUM VALLEY primary students George Hawkins and Ollie Kelly-Taylor with a homage to Marcus Canning’s Rainbow sculpture, which helped their school pick up “most spectacular” award at this month’s Fremantle Festival parade.

The 2.5-metre wide parade float, created by artist Tricia Stedman with some help from friend Phil Murray, is to be auctioned off to raise money for homeless services. Stedman says she chose the design after brainstorming ideas and coming to the conclusion Fremantle was a colourful enough city to have earned its Rainbow.
