The 2.5-metre wide parade float, created by artist Tricia Stedman with some help from friend Phil Murray, is to be auctioned off to raise money for homeless services. Stedman says she chose the design after brainstorming ideas and coming to the conclusion Fremantle was a colourful enough city to have earned its Rainbow.
