Microchip month at hilton vet

Have you had your pet microchipped yet? It’s compulsory for all dogs and cats in WA to be microchipped. To help you, Hilton Vet Hospital is giving a big discount with every microchip in August.

Microchipping is the optimum way of permanent identification in pets and the best way to make sure lost pets get reunited with their owners. It is a strict requirement by all City Councils for all dogs and cats.   If your pet becomes lost, vets, animal shelters and local councils can check your pet for a microchip and contact you via the database. The microchip itself is very small – about the size of a grain of rice and is inserted under your pet’s skin, between the shoulder blades. It’s a quick procedure that is similar to giving an injection.

Hilton Vet is running a “Microchip Month” offer during August.

This offer includes:
$35 microchip (Discount Price)
Microchip done by qualified nurse
Free pigs ear for dogs
Free Greenies treat for cats (great for dental health)
Free registration of microchip (Hilton vet will even post off the registration forms for you)

“Microchips are the only permanent identification that is effective in relocating your lost pet. We get lost pets every month, and it’s so quick and easy to re-unite them with their owners. It is wonderful to see the relief and joy on the owners faces when they come to pick up their lost pet,” says Hilton Vet owner Dr Heinrich.

Reasons for getting lost can be anything from slipping out of a collar and running away, escaping through an unsecured fence or pets that got stolen.

Don’t run the risk of losing your pet. Get your pet Microchipped today. Call 9331 8375 to make a booking.
