THE Fremantle PCYC in Hilton has taken out top honours in the sector’s annual awards.
It gained the award for best centre after a year of innovative programming at the Paget Street community hub, which included film nights and NAIDOC Week celebrations.
The centre has also had great fundraising year to support a range of programs that help keep kids off the street.

Part of Hilton’s success has been due to its volunteers, with Caitlin Irving taking home the senior Volunteer of the Year award.
Ms Irving is involved with the centre’s Safe Space program, which gives youngsters a safe place to hang out and try new activities.
Fremantle council, which owns the hub, also picked up a nomination for its partnership with the PCYC on th enight.
