It’s art, no bull

BULL CREEK’S Tracey Lewis has cheered up the local community by creating a mini Sculptures by the Sea in her front yard.

Using items like old gumboots, cutlery sets, fancy dress masks and stuffed toys, Ms Lewis recreated the famous art exhibition right on her doorstep, and everyone, especially children, love it.

“I went to Sculptures by the Sea and I thought there’s a couple of things I could do here,” she says.

“We’ve had some rough times with illness in the family in the past couple of years and I just thought we need some fun in this house.”

Ms Lewis has received letters of thanks from kids who enjoy seeing her garden on the way to school, with one writing “you’ve made my day”.

“When kids start school it’s a bit daunting. I thought there’s something I could do to brighten their day,” she says.
