THE owners of a new tattoo parlour and barbershop on South Street, Beaconsfield say they’re devastated by a suspected arson attack on Wednesday morning.

Billingsgate studio is co-owned by Samantha Pimblett and Maggie Goedhart and the barbershop by chief trimmer Josh Smith, who’ve received rave reviews from happy customers since opening late last year.

Ms Goedhart told the Herald being firebombed was a complete shock, but with the insurance company’s assessors soon to finish their work on Thursday morning, she was keen to get stuck into the cleaning up and rebuilding.

Ms Goedhart said they were hoping to be open again in three weeks. The arson squad is investigating the blaze and damages were estimated to be $150,000.
