POLICE have arrested a 47-year-old Willagee man after he allegedly fired blanks from a replica handgun towards the occupants of a car in Hamilton Hill last week.
The man was a passenger in a white 2003 Hyundai Getz when it pulled alongside a silver Hyundai Elantra at the intersection of Dodd Street and Frederick Road around 6.20pm.
Police allege the man got out of the Getz before appearing to fire shots at the Elantra. He allegedly fired another shot from the window of the vehicle as it drove away.
Police stopped the vehicle shortly afterwards in Fremantle.
He has been charged with going armed in a way that may cause fear.
