A bow to flying docs

ATTADALE’S Rotary club is saying “thanks” to the Royal Flying Doctor Service by putting on a fundraising concert on its behalf.

The Music in the Air concert will be performed by the Fremantle-based South Side Symphony Orchestra, who’ll be performing classics from Brahms, Lloyd Webber, Mozart, Puccini and Shastakovich.

And while Aussie singer Kate Miller-Heidke’s earning praise for her bel canto-inspired pop over at Eurovision, here’s a chance to catch a true soprano in action with Naomi Johns joining South Side on stage with tenor Jun Zheng and baritone Robert Hoddman.

It’s on Saturday May 25 at 7pm at the Mt Pleasant Baptist College on Marmion Street, Booragoon. Tix are from $32 at http://www.trybooking.com/BAUKH
