A WAVE PARK in Alfred Cove is officially dead.

On Wednesday Melville council announced it had reached a mutual agreement to cancel the head lease on Tompkins Park with UrbnSurf.

The Deed of Release fulfils a council resolution from April 16 raised by councillor Nick Pazolli to mutually terminate the lease, though the vote outcome had been secret until this week.
