• Young netballers celebrate the new clubrooms after their game on the weekend.

PREMIER Mark McGowan officially launched the Fremantle Netball Association’s new $2.25 million clubhouse at Frank Gibson Park last weekend.

The state kicked in $1.8m for the project, with the association putting up the rest.

Association president Sondra Anderson said it was great to have new clubrooms to celebrate the association’s 60th anniversary.

“The future needs of our athletes and clubs have been well catered for, and that’s the most important element of what we have done here,” Ms Anderson said.
