River living

MOUNT PLEASANT is one of the most picturesque spots south of the river.

It feels more sheltered than the Applecross side, and has a lovely mix of old and new properties.

So it’s no surprise that half of the three-bedroom three-bathroom apartments in this new luxury boutique development have already been sold off-plan, before construction has even started.

Situated on The Esplanade, the 12 boutique apartments have been designed to maximise the stunning river views with floor-to-ceiling windows spanning the width of the abode, letting in plenty of natural light.

The balconies are super wide and deep, making them perfect for hosting get-togethers with friends and family as the sun dips below the horizon.

As you would expect all the fixtures and fittings are top drawer with an elegant, open plan design that enhances the sense of space.

The apartments are private with a custom elevator providing access to the entry foyer, which features curated artworks and a glass facade.

‘The Helm’ was designed by Colliére Architecture, winner of 2009 National Property Council Award, and the design blends in nicely with the riverside locale.

With the foreshore, cycle paths, and riverside cafes literally on your doorstep, you can take full advantage of the Swan River location.

The apartments include two garage spaces and it’s only a five minute drive into the city, but there are plenty of bus stops on the nearby Canning Highway and a train station at Canning Bridge.

Construction is scheduled to start in December and take about 18 months. If you want riverside living in a luxurious apartment, this could be the one for you.
