Great locale

IT’S pretty rare to find a spacious three bedroom apartment going for under $500,000 in East Fremantle.

So I imagine this East Street one won’t be on the market for very long.

It represents a great opportunity to get a foothold in a top suburb and could be a great rental further down line if you fancy yourself as a landlord.

Some apartments can be a bit gloomy and claustrophobic, but this three bedroom one bathroom number is bright and airy courtesy of the numerous windows, white colour scheme and sliding doors leading to the balcony.

It helps the apartment is situated at the end of the building with windows and doors to the east, south and west.

The main living area is a great size with plenty of room for a decent-sized dining table and a lounge setting.

It doesn’t feel cramped and is a nice spot to relax after a hard day’s work.

The balcony isn’t just a token gesture and is very long and deep with enough room for a cafe setting, BBQ and more.

A great spot when you feel like a bit of fresh air but don’t want to get out of your pyjamas and face the world.

The u-shaped kitchen has nice marble-style benchtops and is neat and functional, but the pinkish cupboards are a bit dated and you’d probably wan’t to repaint them white.

It’s a small cosmetic job and nothing that a trip to Bunnings couldn’t solve.

The kitchen also has a window, making it nice and bright, which lets you get rid of those cooking smells (we’ve all walked into apartments where you can tell what the owners had for dinner!)

All the bedrooms are a decent size and having that third means you could have a home office/study/music room, or guests and family over to stay. It really does make a huge difference having a third bedroom and is a game changer as you acquire more belongings.

Like the kitchen, the bathroom is neat and functional without setting the heather on fire, although it does have a big shower cubicle.

The home includes a laundry, a linen cupboard, ceiling fans and two parking spaces.

Location is another big drawcard with this property: situated in a complex on East Street, on the border of Fremantle and East Freo, you are next to George Street with all it’s fantastic restaurants, small bars and cafes, and a short walk from the river, or a hop on the bus or quick cycle to the Fremantle CBD.

It really is a top spot and you’ll fall in love with George Street in no time.

This is a great starter pad or downsizer in a fantastic suburb and would also make a top rental.
