Naughty Freo elves

The Elf on the Shelf Trail is a popular family-friendly event in Fremantle.

THERE’S still time to take the kids on the Elf on the Shelf Christmas Trail in Fremantle with the event wrapping up on Wednesday (December 21).

A group of cheeky elves have escaped and you’ve got to track them down in six walkable locations scattered across the port city.

As you search for elves, you’ll get to see many enchanting shopfronts decorated for the Shine a Light Christmas Trail.

Record the elves’ names, and drop your completed entry form into the barrel at Fremantle Library at Walyalup Civic Centre.

If you successfully complete the trail you’ll be in the running to win some great prizes.

It’s a free ticketed event but bookings are essential at eventbrite.com.au/e/elf-on-the-shelf-christmas-trail-tickets-470828429507

Some of Fremantle’s favourite attractions and restaurants have put together special discounts and offers exclusively for Elf on the Shelf ticket holders.

Mayor Hannah Fitzhardinge says Freo is the place to be in the run up to Christmas.

“Fremantle’s relaxed holiday vibe takes the stress out Christmas shopping and brings fun back into the experience,” she says.

“You can find unique and interesting gifts and experiences in Freo, then celebrate your shopping wins over sunset dinner or drinks with friends.”
