LAST week the Herald’s front page story “The empower of sex” mistakenly identified exhibition performer Gaea Anastas as a sex worker in a photo caption.

Ms Anastas is instead an interdisciplinary performance and visual artist who is well known locally for her clowning work at CircusWA and for introducing a legion of kids to the joys of circus skills through her role as a teacher. 

The Herald unreservedly apologises to Ms Anastas and its readers for making the error.
