A MOTION calling for the suspension of Covid-19 vaccines and an investigation into their potential risks also got the vote from Fremantle’s AGM of ratepayers last week.
While that got the nod from electors, the City’s annual report once again failed to pass muster, while the mayor’s political adversaries got through another vote of no confidence.
Long-time vaccine safety campaigner Dominique Mimnagh’s motion urged the council to instruct the CEO to advocate for federal and state government action. She wants a science-based evaluation of synthetic DNA contamination in Pfizer and Moderna vaccines and an investigation into excess deaths and hospitalisations since the vaccine rollout.
She cited Australian Bureau of Statistics data, claiming: “Excess deaths have risen by 9 per cent to 24 per cent since 2022.
“Even a 3 per cent increase should raise alarms, yet there’s been no significant response. This is a catastrophe that demands urgent answers.
“I spoke to nine funeral directors, three of whom confirmed a significant rise in younger cancer deaths under 60. This is a shared responsibility at all levels of government.”
Former mayoral candidate Marija Vujcic criticised mayor Hannah Fitzhardinge’s handling of the finances, saying the loss of income-producing assets and increasing dependence on rate rises didn’t bode well.
Their motions now await council deliberation, along with one calling on the council to prune street trees back to the property line on the back of a resident’s request.
