ILLEGAL vapes and tobacco were allegedly found at a shop in the Fremantle Malls last week following a police raid on the aging shopping complex. 

Police conducted a search warrant on a retail store in the Malls on Friday, May 30, according to police media, where officers from the Department of Health also seized “a large quantity” of vapes and tobacco from the store. 

Following the raid, a 36-year-old Kardinya man was charged with possession of a prohibited drug and drug paraphernalia.

Another 30-year-old Kardinya man was charged with carrying a prohibited weapon. 

Both men will front Fremantle Magistrates Court later this year.
