The big picture

THE Italian Club will be awash with psychics, tarot cards readers and spinal flow therapists when the Fremantle Holistic Expo is held there next month.

It’s the seventh time the Expo has been held at the Club and in 2024 the popular two-day event attracted more than 500 people.

The Expo was founded by Galactic Priestess Seraphina – a reiki master and international psychic medium who grew up in Fremantle and has more than 30 years experience in the holistic industry.

Recently there has been a lot of interest in frequency medicine and vibrational healing, especially how it supports the nervous system and helps people feel more grounded, present and energised.

“Right now, we’re seeing a big focus on regulating the vagus nerve, which plays a key role in stress, digestion and emotional health,” she says.

“Many people are showing up with anxiety, poor sleep, fatigue, and gut issues, and we’re finding that these often stem from being stuck in fight, flight or freeze mode.

“This directly affects the adrenals and throws the body’s electrical systems out of sync.”

Seraphina says holistic medicine is not new – “it’s ancient wisdom resurfacing” – and traces of it can be found in the works of Nikola Tesla, Royal Rife and Albert Einstein – “these minds knew the power of frequency, vibration, and energy”.

She says the Expo is not about pushing an agenda or proving sceptics wrong.

“We’re here to hold space for truth, resonance and self-exploration,” Seraphina says.

“Once people experience a session or modality that shifts something for them – physically, emotionally or energetically – the walls of doubt begin to dissolve.

“There’s nothing to sell when people can feel the results in their own bodies.”

A vegetarian and bi-frequency technician who doesn’t drink, smoke or take anything “non-natural”, Seraphina has been pharmaceutically clean for more than 40 years.

“Holistic medicine has shaped my life from the inside out — it’s more than a belief system; it’s a way of being,” she says.

“It’s taught me to listen to my body, trust its intelligence, and live in alignment with what truly sustains wellbeing.

“That’s why events like this matter — they invite others to reconnect with their own innate ability to heal.”

Some of Seraphina’s family are members of the Italian Club, where the event is held.

She says the Expo started out as a local wellness gathering, but has evolved in a major event that attracts people from across WA.

This year there’ll be more than 25 stalls offering a variety of holistic goods and services including tarot, angel and psychic readings, frequency scanning, iridology and sound healing modalities.

“We’re expecting even more at this Expo as the wave of interest in natural healing continues to rise,” she says.

“Visitors can also explore powerful tools and remedies including essential oils, holistic teas, organite, pet wellness care, crystals, wellness books, and more.”

The Fremantle Holistic Expo is on Saturday August 2 and Sunday August 3 at The Italian Club, 65 Marine Terrace. $2 gold coin entry and free on-site parking.
