Back on the track

Southside BMX riders are back on the track following a $1.18m upgrade to their Bull Creek facilities.

Melville council officially opened the new changeroom and club building at Bob Gordon Reserve, with mayor Katy Mair and Riverton MLA Jags Krishnan cutting the ribbon.

The project includes new toilets, showers, changerooms, storage, a kiosk and undercover servery, plus a cantilevered sheltered area alongside the building. Southside BMX says the refreshed facilities will help it draw in young and female riders through its Girls in BMX and Mini Wheelers programs and host state championships.
