CORRECTIONS are usually the last thing editors want to see in their newspaper, but in this rare case it’s one that we’re very happy to run, given the good news it brings.

It seems the source that told us that documentary maker and saintly centenarian Sir David Attenborough was very ill had been given some dodgy information.

His producers at the BBC contacted us after our front page story “For the love of the Ocean” to let us know that Sir David is in fine fettle.
